Exhibition in the Making

Oh, I do love the month of September; this wonderful time of year when late summer evenings meet the hope of early autumn mornings.

This year I’d initially scheduled two weeks of vacation, hoping to go to Greece and let life spoil me…

Dreaming of lovely days in Greece

But, as you might remember, my vacation plans were «interrupted» by an upcoming solo exhibit at a local gallery space.

Long Hours

So, clearly my September vacation weeks were spent inside my art studio mixing paint and working long hours with a new body of work – hoping to bind together a somewhat fragmented series that has been ongoing for a while.

Lots of work going on in my studio

To tell the truth, I’ve been putting on my big girl’s pants to pull this off on top of being a full time working class hero. Sometimes I’m sooo tired of art…

Working hard

September Surprise

Not to mention the surprise of waking up one sunny morning ready to work – but hardly able to walk or stand upright… (I am recovering)

Well, sometimes life sure has its challenges. But if everything goes as planned (fingers crossed) please feel free to check out my new paintings.

Finishing touches
