I truly believe that art can change the world and I’m so happy to share that I’m once again participating in the wonderful PAE international group exhibition in the Hague, Netherlands.

This year’s charity exhibit is held at Museum Beelden aan Zee in the Hague, Netherlands to benefit people affected by Alzheimer’s.

Opening June 6

Initially I was hoping to go to the Opening Reception (June 6) and hang out with some of my cool art friends from across the world, but since I’ve just changed my day job, unfortunately that’s not possible. Maybe next time!

Small Work – Big Impact

Working on a small scale is a real challenge for me and I don’t do it very often, but I really like the charity concept behind the Postcard Art Exhibit, so I make an effort. 

I think this is my 9th entry and I’m so happy that I can spread some love and help make days a little better for those affected by Alzheimer’s.

Inner Garden

When in the studio one of my favorite things to do is abstracting nature motifs. As you might remember, I abstracted parts of my garden for the PAE exhibition in Texas, USA 2024. And «Hanna’s garden» was sold to a happy artist and collector.

This year I made my painting during the freezing winter and my focus was memories, so I call my entry: Inner Garden

Being part of this wonderful exhibit makes me happy and hopefully we make someone affected by Alzheimer’s happy too by sharing our small tokens of love.

Memories

Some years back I worked professionally with Dementia and Alzheimer’s patients and I fell in love with their inner landscapes. So lush and beautiful, so rich and alive. Like a thriving garden. 

The love and respect we shared over morning coffees and overcoming daily life struggles together made a strong bond between us and I sometimes miss their warm hearts, open minds and lively laughters. 

So many pleasant memories, so I call my entry: Inner Garden

I wonder who’s gonna give this one a happy home…
